Go placidly amid the noise and haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.

As far as possible without surrender
be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly;
and listen to others,
even the dull and the ignorant;
they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons,
they are vexatious to the spirit.

If you compare yourself with others,
you may become vain and bitter;
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.

Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your own career, however humble;
it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs;
for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;
many persons strive for high ideals;
and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself.
Especially, do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love;
for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment
it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years,
gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.

Beyond a wholesome discipline,
be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe,
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be,
and whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.

With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful.
Strive to be happy.

Words that describe My Outlook on Life
Loving and Living Life with no fear - always! The only barriers to our freedom are the ones we create for ourselves. Love yourself do no harm cause no harm and live Life.
Who am I?
I am who I am nothing more, nothing less, not who someone else desires me to be as I am who I am... Read my Tome here
Type of Person I am
I live in my own reality, everyone else is the guest.
My Achievements
Living Life with No Fear - Really! I am self educated, travelled the globe and a jack of all trades.
Future Goals & Dreams
Breathing more motorcycle exhaust fumes! Maybe learning how to tie my shoes - oh - I wear boots so I don't have to learn that! I've done just about everything I set out to do - now it's time to kick back and chill a bit.
Characteristics and type of people I want to know
bugsbunny I am not running for a political office or pageant so I have no one that I feel I need to impress. If you want to know me that’s great and if you don’t that’s fine too. I enjoy meeting people who are grounded to the Earth and have a zeal for living Life.

There are a lot of people out there who are trapped in their personal prejudice and fears because they’re comfortable in that zone. They usually become complacent hiding behind their facades, find fault with everything around them, and blame everyone else except themselves for their problems. They live their lives with fear and never take on any challenges or risks, they just exist – that’s not living Life. It’s unlikely they’ll ever make any change in our world. If you’re one of those people I won’t turn my back on you but I won’t wallow in the muck with you.

And then there are magnificent people who are not fearful of what others think who don’t care about what you look like, where you come from, who you sleep with or whether you’re rich or poor. These are the people who are not afraid to accept and respect others because they do not allow other people to tell them what to think. They are quick to defend the rights of people who are oppressed. These people are the movers and shakers on our planet, they strive for positive change and making a difference. And it’s those folks I want as friends.

Richard Moss says that “the greatest gift one can give is the purity of their time & attention.” Take the time today to say hello to a complete stranger and ask them how they are doing, or tell your spouse, significant other, partner, friend or family member what you love or like about them. I believe communication, conversation and acknowledgment are very important but in our world today this seems to be lacking, particularly on the Internet. As a social network operator I see it happening all the time and I’ve seen it in several online groups that I belong to. Sadly there are some very selfish people who think only of themselves and can’t be bothered by anyone unless they feel they’re going to get something out of it. If somebody acknowledges your existence or gives a few seconds of their time to you, take a few seconds and respond back to that person - don’t discount their existence by ignoring them.
